Adults living in Europe are likely the unluckiest group in terms of receiving real education and training for employment and technology when taking today's inevitable skills into consideration. We can not neglect that adult education is a vital component of lifelong learning. Adult participation in education and training is not only limited but is also unbalanced. To have a balance and to work in harmony the partners of this project are coming together as to show their determination to make their seniors feel themselves useful again because all the member partners notice that those with the lowest educational attainments are the least likely to participate in learning. In order to address this issue as well as other challenges Europe is facing such as demographic changes, rapid development in other regions of the world and poverty paired with Social Inclusion, the Commission published a Communication on "Adult Learning: It is never too late to learn" in 2006. In the light of this motto and under these challenging circumstances our project shows its reliable steps with its products to make adults feel themselves useful in the society as learning basic computer and internet tools while meeting with different cultures and foreign people. The products of the project will be created by the adults learners that the project covers right after the staff of partner organizations train them. Inter-generational cooperation and conversation are very crucial needs. Nowadays conditions don't allow adults to meet and be together. Close human relations have been replaced with media, especially TV. This projects' tools are great instruments for the adults to talk something in common while learning more from the others and closing the gap between the youngsters during the exhibition hours. That's why the learners will be chosen in a balanced number of men and women.
Toys are good common subject of conversation both inter generations and people from partners countries. Toys and games are important for people of different ages. Seniors should feel themselves more valuable, they can become close partners of their children and grandchildren with the computer and language skills they may acquire in the course of the project. Lonely seniors will be less lonely, they will work at project activities and eventually they may find new friends in project.
Seniors have valuable contributions to society and the community in which they live. This project will try to help them to be self-fulfilled and be actively involved in social roles.
